One small whisper

Few months ago, I sat there as i listened to Pastor Ling shared. I sat there quietly and dreamt what if.. so i whispered...
it was just a small whisper, of a sentence, in my heart towards God. it wasn't even a proper prayer... Since it wasn't what i say a proper prayer, I wasn't sure whether it was presented to God , or was it even loud enough to be heard by God....

So , it is true when the Bible says "God sees our hearts".. He knows my desire.. He know me inside out. What was insignificant, He knows.. and what small desire that i was afraid to let the world know, He knows.. Few days ago, God granted it to me.. and now that i am having it, i will use it for His glory... it might take years before i can fully fulfill my small desire, but i will not be shaken..

One day... i will let the people around me know, of what God has given to me when i whisper a small whisper... My God is not too big/busy that He has neglected me nor bypassed my small little whisper..
But this desire is not longer that small... hour by hour, day by day, i feel it is getting bigger and closer... that one day will come, when i can worship Him with more than just words....

of course can see... HAIYO... if we stand with our back facing the sun, and spray fine droplets of water into the air, then mar can see ady lor.. but i've seen natural rainbow many times.. few times there were DOUBLE rainbows too.. cool man..! but wonder where does rainbow ends... theoretically, we can chase rainbow.. cuz as we move, the angle of view changes, and rainbow cant be seen ady, get what i mean..???? Lecture time..

I've been thinking about this for quite some time dy. But din took the effort, cause it something in my mind, my thoughts, and my thoughts are usually very damn messy one.

Reading ann post (Kisah Siti dan Ali) made me rethink about it. Time really passed so fast. Its been 4 years since I left high school, almost 2 years that I'm here, and in app two months I will go back to Malaysia. Wow.

And then the memories of high school came back. When we were stayng back at Koh centre after physic tuition classes for chemistry tuition classes, how we kap chai's and all that. How we giggled at the Nan Hwa school guys.

Ann you remember the time when I called you when you were constipating in the toilet wtc! ahahahaha! The time after physic quiz. Wtc. That was the funniest.

And you remember the time I din do well in my SPM? You and peter called me. And just listen to me cry. You din say anything to comfort me, yet that was the best comfort you could ever give.

The time you came over to stay at my place in college. I still remember you ter-cut your finger with my knife and yet your hand din bleed cause you were complaining how blunt my knife is wtc.

And the time I spent at your college, wa can really die man. At night kena gigit my mosquito till half dead man!!! And we slept like less then 4 hours then had to go to Genting.

And the time you showed up at the airport. I really din expect it.

Its been 2 years since we seen each other, and probably another 2 years before we see each other.Hor Ah Ann, see you made me cry dy!

Usha is so so so pretty and lovely, i like to look at her laughing, cuz then will be able to see her dimples, and combined with her sharp nose and rabbit tooth and sweet smile, oh i can look at her for hours and hours and hours! She taught us choir and she pinned my hair for me that sunday! thanks usha! muacks!

Pauline is so chicky and bubbly! hahahahah... always make ppl around her laugh with her. and i miss having her around la now. when we're in vickery, we hang out together and she stood beside me in choir and during choir practise time.. love poking u, hahaha.

Yan Hua the star of the day! she's in the drama team and the drama team make the service amazing. rlly amazing, my tears was accumulating when i saw the skit. Jesus is alive and he is real, he is always wanting us to be back to him.

During Zion Food Fest on 23rd February ^^. LOTS of fishballs............ hahaha..

Us gals had decided to go for movie so abruptly one night. We got dressed up in half an hour, book the online ticket and went off to Garden City for the movie "definitely maybe".. it was then my 8th time entering cinema.. haha, super excited, lol.. But the cinema was really really comfy, and i almost felt asleep... before going in, we took a pic with the chipmunks.. heehee.. we bought the chipmunks.. haha.. tiny little chipmunks, lol..

This cinema outing was a very fun one, cuz it was what gals do out of random at random nights, especially when u have friends coming over to stay overnight (like Jia Huei, haha). Fun, we get to exchange wardrobe.. it the gals BONDing time!

Easter

Here comes easter.. while we were praying just now during choir practise for tomorrow's Sunday Service- Easter Celebration, some kind of sorrowful feeling came knocking into me...

biblically, Jesus was crucified 3 days ago.. he was in the garden of Gethsemane... He prayed and wept... He knew that he will have to carry the cross of the world soon... Yet he willingly went with God's will... He was falsely accused by authority... rejected by his own people.. betrayed by his own disciple... Jesus bore the cross.. it is not just a wooden cross, in the cross it contains the burden of God, the sins of the world.. he was nailed at his hands and feets.. he wore the crown of thorns.. his blood dripped and wet the ground.. it was the only moment when God turned his eyes away from His own son, Jesus.. it was the only moment...

when i was 16 yrs old, i remember seeing a slide projection in church during countdown worship rehearsal.. in the slide it says..

I ask Jesus "How much do you love me?"...
Jesus says "This much"..
and spread his arms on the cross...

i wept when i read that.. though it has been 5 years since i last read the line, my heart is still touched...

What have i done in return for his love? nothing much..
How much have i done..? not much..
Have i done enough..? not enough...
Could i ever do enough..? no i can't...
how can i ever repay your love, dear Jesus...? no i wil never can..

what else on earth that can compare to your death? None..
who else on earth that is willing to die for me? No one..
Where else can i find hope and life if not in you? No where..
What words is good enough to describe my gratitude to you? No word..
Who else can i love deeper than you? None...

and my heart weeps...

because he spread his arms on the cross.. he showed me his nail pierced hand... and then he showed me unconditional love, love so divine none can compare nor replace..

Where is feeling?

Where is feeling located inside me..?? Is it in my heart..?? Well then, so far in my high school and uni school, teachers told me heart is a cardiac muscle, none ever tell me that one of heart's function is to regulate feeling, or container of feeling... All i know is that, heart is specialized muscle used to pump blood supply to all over my body... so why do people say "I love you with all my heart"...??

One of my friends said, it could be in the kidney.. How come yea... none of my Biology teacher ever mention that in their lectures.. there's nephons and cortex, bowsman capsule, loop of Henle, ducts, etc etc etc but none that has anything related to feeling.. and if kidney is responsible for feeling, then by any chance if one kidney is taken away, do we say "i love you with all my kidney" or " I am sorry honey, my feeling for you has been taken away by 50%, cuz the doctor took away my left/right kidney"... doesn't sound so right to me...

another of my friends also said that, brain is involved when it comes to feeling... that's my biological knowledge about brain is not extensive, but brain makes more sense to me, in terms of being held responsible for enxiety, nervousness, trembling and bla bla bla..

so where is my feeling located in my body..? does it comes in the form of peptide bond or lipid molecule...? if it does, then human can create more of "happy peptide molecule" and inject it to sad people so that sad people becomes happier..?? then feeling wouldnt be genuine anymore, no more precious and meaningful.. there will be biological feeling and laboratory feeling... EEEEWWWW....!!!

my friend said, it is from soul... define soul..? only human beings have souls... define soul..?? a special characteristic from God and is only given to human beings...? how special is men, that they have souls and therefore feeling...

oh how i treasure you, feeling... i am amazed by the Creator that create you, dear feeling..

P/S: still, underlying question is... where is feeling exactly...?

Confession March 2008

Last Saturdaty night, i had quite a bad time while i was about to sleep. Feeling of guilty for not taking study seriously has kicked in into me. on and off, i will think back of the orientation day (21 Feb 2008), when our Unit Coordinator remind us to start studying from Day 1.. But it's like 3weeks into school and i havent done any serious reading yet... and gosh, the feeling of guilt was seemingly unbearable, that saturday night....

Whenever i wanna study, something else will crop up, and i then divert myself to do other not-so-important stuff like, having frens over for dinner at home, grocery shopping, watching Oprah, cuci baju, CHIT CHAT for hours in msn, blogging almost everyday (that happened last week lor...), go out for city trip, and bla bla bla..

So now.. here i am, coming up with this schematic plan, quite practical i think- that i shall blog no more than twice a week, visit blog no more than 3times/week... check email everyday, but visit facebook once a week.. and chat less than 4hrs/week... can i do it..?? i think i can...
of course i need to take a break, takkan wanna study 24/7 right.. sciencestream students need extra lot time to chill out or destress one u know, haha..... but just reduce the amount of time i spend on doing other not-so-important stuff.. and replace it with more stuff that has more superior values.. wow, sounds so "yeng".. but i REALLY want to do it.......

But of all, the bottom line is, whatever is the priority shall remain priority... cellgroup, church time, choir, quiet time, reading some non-secular books time.. all shall remain as my priority....... hmmph...!!!! shall not cut on that... no discount...!!!

i wanna get my days organized.. i shall learn to take control of the events that happen daily...like, control myself not to be enticed by the internet for so long... control myself from chatting in msn till 2am... control myself to do finish my schoolwork on the day itself and... so on and so forth.. stuff like that... guess it's called DISCIPLINE, what do u reckon..???

"jiang dao zhuo dao!!!" .... when translated is... "i (finger crossed) do what i say"....!!!!!

I will not let the feeling of guitly or worried take control of me and freak me out for days... i will not feel gloomy or moody... => ... i hold on to what is good and is hopeful..

Joshua 1:9 Have i not commanded you? be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

God's msg is simple, He is with us, and He will make us able and strong.

By this, it doesnt mean i can get away with the attitude of lazyness and not studying...

Colossians 3:23 said, whatever you do, work it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
Means, if i wanna do something, then i do it wholeheartedly, to the best that i can, and in the end of the day, i gotta present my work to God, the final supervisor of my life..... hhhmmph...!!!

Fact 1
I think i like rainy days, especially if it's a night. I would stand outside my house and admire the rain, although in the dark i can hardly see the rain droplets, cheh.. hahahah... plus, it's hot in Malaysia, and my house doesnt switch on the air-cond 24/7, so rainy days are the time i feel super cooling and jiwang.. i will dream and think of stuff.. sometimes mind is blank.. but most of the time, i took the opportunity to have good sleep.. i like sleeping when it rains.. ok ,bit messy this paragraph.. but if i'm not standing outside watching the almost unseen raindrops, i'll be on the bed dreaming and floating away to dreamland.. hahahhaah... i think rainy is also sort of romantic time to do couple stuff like talking, cooking, blablabla... hahahahah....... gosh, i wish i ... nothing.. hahahahah.... Oh oh oh, i also dream of the day i wil be at a very beautiful beach, seaside, with the rainy time, sitting outside the balcony, honeymoon-ing with my husband... hahahahahhaahahah, well if it isnt raining then let the sky be filled jam-packed with stars!!!!!!!............... *sweat*..... those were the sweet dreams i had when i was younger.. i stil think of them sometimes.. haha... and oh, finally i went to the beach all alone, this yr..!!!! cool...!

I have already prepared the names for my children in the future, both girls and boys.. 3 names for girls... 4 names for boys, hahahah... they all come in sets of English name + given name.... the "surname" part, of course leave it blank la, hahahah...!!! and i started collecting the names since 15yrs old..... saved it all in my old nokia flip-flop phone.. saved it as "reminder" on my birthday in year 2010, but i have a look at it every now and then, just wanna have a look, and i still wanna stick to those names, i think they are beautiful names, hahahaah.. so super dreaming queen la me.. oh and! i've also outlined the types of flowers i want on my wedding day, hahahhaah, there are 3 types altogether... all the info is in my phone, wink wink... i am not lying, i really dream of getting married since, i was 14 yrs old..?? haha.. and how old am 1 now..???

ann(which is ME) and i(LinFoong) use to lift each other's skirt back in high school. we would randomly pull each other's skirt and in the middle of the classroom you can hear some one suddenly screaming, ie the one who's skirt was lifted up... ahh the good old days *sweat* we held each other's hand while we walk down the corridors too. yes we were named the lesbian couple. but my love (sisterly love ok) for her has yet changed and im sure she feels the same way too ^^NB: we wore pants under our school pinafore ok.
(what followed is addition from me!) we knew each other since we'e both 12years old ok, and that time LinFoong stil have her "mushroom" hair , lol....!! oh yea, heeheeheee... i drew a turtle on a piece of paper, and she stick it onto the back of Peter, but Peter found out very soon, sien, heeeheehee.... and we both were "discussing" how fungi cant actually grow on the chair because one of our classmates sat on the chair very very long, like from 7.30am til 1pm, dint get up from the chair so..no air, no life.. fungi can die....both of us felt so funny that we laughed from the front of the class to the back of the class...those fun times... I KNOW i know i know, i was a bad girl then........ >.<'''

i like to stay at home a lot a lot... LinFoong knows.. i promised her many times in the past that i will accompany her to this place that place do this do that.. but ended up cancelling them cuz during the last minute, i will just feel lazy and just wanna stay at home.. but til now, i stil think i like staying at home.. i din travel much, and i stil dont.. cuz home it's like the most comfortable place in the world (the..???)... i can just wear a T, and pants, dont have to wear shoes, dont even need to care if my hair is out of place... kitchen is within walking distance and all the food is in there, toilet is clean and free, and most importantly the BED is so so so near to me and so so so COMFORTABLE lor, can jump onto it anytime i want.... if there's a day that i am totally free, i can just lie down there whole day, sleeping or dreaming or just not thinking at all... and i love my BOLSTER a lot..!!! but now i dont have it, cuz Aussie ppl dun sell/use bolster, what a PITY...!!!!! i want a bolster...!!!!! choose between dating in shopping mall/cinema/park or home, i choose home... spending nights and weekends else or home, i choose home.. going out for dinner or tabao home, i choose tabao home.. grocery shopping outside or stay at home to clean kitchen, i choose to stay at HOME even if i gotta clean the kitchen... i just love home, especially my BED, heeehee...

i have short finger nails and toe nails... i think it's cuz i inherited it from my dad and mum?? i check on theirs and found out both of them have short nails, therefore it's impossible for me to have long nails... well the chances is there but is super low...!!! and my fingers look short and fat rather than long and dainty.. i tried wearing ring before but they just dont look that nice on short and fat fingers... admire those pianist fingers la, gosh so so so beautiful... long and gentle and soft... and i love Hannah's fingers and fingernails, and even her toes and toenails, gosh..!!!!! but nevertheless i dont hate my finger and toes and nails.. they are mine, special, bler... either u take it or leave it, the Ah Mor Lang always say, hahah...

I will never never ever go jogging in order to sweat or put off weight... i think it's wasting time and effort ,doing nothing other than running on the grass and killing them bit by bit, imagine stepping with force on the grass, so pityful la the grass ok...! BUT on the other hand, i can dance hours a day ( no , i'm not a pro dancer, just dance) and sweat whole day without even bother if i actually sweat the whole shirt and pants.. i just enjoy dancing, at least it has a purpose, that is to practise dance...!!! and i ENJOY doing it, that's the main point... yes , i bought a pair of sport shoes this year, but no, i will not go jogging... but ... actually hoh, i went jogging twice with Hannah to the Padang Astaka in my hometown, that's more like walking than jogging lor, and we talked non-stop all the way through..that's also partially because that's the only time then to meet her and catch up and just spend bonding time with her, heehee... we were panting at the end, cuz we talked a lot a lot a lot while walking, not because we jogged...

Fact 7
I was told by many of my friends tat i walk "funnily"..."differently"... "lazy-ly"..."cat-walking"... "noisily"... but the more significant one is "SPECIALLY"... i dont know what do they means lor.. i have been walking since... i year old..??
just an hour ago, i was walking back from school when i received a call from Dayong, he said "cheah yen, walking back from school yea, heeheehee.." then i ask him how did he know?.. he replied that he was on the bus, he din see my face but my back only.. but the Tripple D- Dayong Derek and Derell, were guessing it was me according to the "special" way i walk as seen from behind.. Amelene told me "jiayan, u walk very funny la, hahahahahahahha".... and many many others.. POKOKNYA, i have special way of walking... Excuse me, do i..??????????

Fact 8
I can count how many times i enter cinema..... and it is 8 times, in my 20.5 years of life (ops my birthday coming soon!!!)...... actually it was 7 times, but yesterday nite the gals in the house were so random, having dinner at 8pm ,then suddenly chat about movie... then Janica say wanna go watch movie,and i wanted to chill out as well, so off we went... Me, Janica, Evangeline and Jia Huei...!!!!!!! woohoo...!! i was so so so excited bout goin to cinema lor.. jumped 1metre high into the air ok...!! and we all dress up, not like super dress up thatkind, but wear nice nice, nicer than normal la, hahahah... seriously so so excited, and we took photos too..! wil post it up soon...!!!! well, the fact is, since i was 14years old, i have always have this dream that i wanted to keep my 1st cinema experience for my bf, since i've never been into cinema (as to the timeline back then), thinking it will be special, u know.... but... anyway, my 1st cinema experience went to a guy (whom i must confess i liked in the PAST ok) hahaha...
