My mum's CG Christmas Celeb Part 2

U know when ppl serve western meal, they serve Appetizer before serving the main meal..? so i wanna start my pics with appetizer too.. it'll be Eggs + Onions...!!! hahaha

So, not to mix things up, the previous Part 1 pictures was the Celebration for Kids in our housing area. Part 2 is another different celebration for the adults CG here, hahaha. Who say town ppl cant be happening..?? we are very happening ppl ok hihihi.. ^^

kick off the celebration preparation with cutting and preparing the ingredients and cooking utensils.

Know what is this white thing on my finger tip?? i dunno what is it called in English. In chinese it is "tang yuen". Prol "glutinuous rice ball" in English, heehee.. nice right, so round and smooth, i roll one ok.. hahaha.. preparing to do Tang Yuen Tang for the Aunties and myself, hehehe.

Then boil it in hot boiling water!

Using a metal sieve, scoop those little rice balls out when they are seen floating on the surface of hot boiling water ^^

Give them a good roll in peanut flour, make sure they are fully coated with the peanut flour. The peanut flour is made from grind fried peanut and some spoonfuls of sugar. By this time u should be able to smell the peanut fragrance ady le!

Last but not least, serve them on the nice chinese plate. or Some alladin-like-plate, like the one i had on my hand, lol.. ready to serve!!!

Then i went into the house for a break, and these two sisters came to play with me, haha! super manja one le! can u believe, the gal to my left is already standard 5..?? that means 11yrs old.. so tiny right!!! >.<''' lol

ok ok, i know it's super pretty! it's mine! ^^ it's in the clay pot outside my house!

haaa~~~~ faint... ^^ it was about 5pm and the flower was about to "close shop". lol. one funny thing i found out bout this flower is that it blossoms when the sun rises and "close shop" when the sun sets. very amazing right..?? prol wanna protect itself from the danger or coldness of the night! the flower do not wither, they r not dying yet. they just wrap themselves up and blossoms again when the next sunrise comes. ^^

initially i din know that.

At first, i thought "HMMM, this flower is pretty tough. blossom for one day only. then the next morning, to my surprise, blossom again!!! heeheeheehee! SURPRISE...!

so, these are the pics i took on the way walkin back to my house to take something.. then i decided to visit a mini vege farm on a piece of actually-empty-but-now-transform-to-land-of-harvest-due-to-the-hardworkingness-of-some-indian-neighbourhood-ladies.. and what follows next are what i found there ^^

This papaya tree is super fertile man!!! wanna know why i put up this so-common-to-the-max papaya pic here..?? No.1 - cause this pic look so pretty from the angle i took.. No.2- cuz papaya (commonly known as pampam in Perth) is so freaking expensive...!! imagine, setengah biji of papaya cost about RM20..... my goodness..... if my mum knows i buy one, she'll prol scold.. which, i never buy at all, haha...

This purple and round one is the eggplant/brinjal... the long green one is lady fingers, hahaha (cuz it looks like lady's dainty fingers!!! olden day ppl were so literature-minded) which is a beautiful thing, haha...

Multi-talented Reverand Wong of our Chin Hock Methodist Church ^^ sings professionally, plays the guitar and piano excellently too...!! ^^ Pastor who led worships at numerous conferences nationwide. Anoited and gifted ^^

The congregation listening attentively while Rev. Wong did the sharing. ^^ lovely.

After sharing, as usual, there'll be food. One very distictive thing that is prominent in Foochow ppl ( ppl like me and others who live in Sitiawan).. is FOOD... we just love food... no matter what's the occasion, we'll cook.. massively...!!! no matter how full we are.. we will eat... massively...!!! hahaha... and i'm proud of that.. the other day, Yivvone(my current housemate here) said "do u eat a lot one?". then i ask her how did she know. she replied "oh from the way u eat"... oh well.... mm, hahahaha... i dun mind, i am proud of my heritage => prol i eat in big mouthful.. or chew very fast... eeeeeeeeeehehehehe..

Few weeks before i came back, Amy and me went to Pangkor for a 1-day trip together with Pastor Wee, hiihii. Amy and me went to beach. Well, pastor actually sent us to beach to do reflection , new yr resolution and sharing. But... we both ended up posing and taking pics, non-stop...! we sat there on the "buaian" and relax and enjoy the quiet small beach and the gentle breeze.. i miss those moments..

Somewhere in January i think, i went to KL to have reunion with college frens. the Amy so happen to be in KL as well, gav me a lift back to town. It was fun to the max! we're stuck in the highway, and it was raining! cuz there was an accident like 200metres in front of us, and the cars cant move at all for 2hrs...!!! out of boredom we took pics.. lol.. hehe.. that's my finger and her yellow cutie..

the weekend after CNY, we young ppl in PPW team decided to have our very last gathering.. sobsobsob... in preparation, Amy took up the courage to cook, lol.. hahahahah i like this pic man...!!

What made my day..?? a delivery from Malaysia. hihihih....

It's got my tambourine book (yippie...!!!), my nail buffer which i rarely use now thanks to my school workload, haha... and boots, i wonder when can i wear it.. and last but not least, books to study.... =>

though it was a requested delivery (i requested for those stuff to be delivered to me la), but i still feel happy receiving, it's like receiving a gift, though it is an expected gift. haha.. unexpected one will be good, but no need for that. i'm just too happy to see my name on the parcel, lovely. ^^
