Randomly went to beach with Chris, Johnson, Evangeline, Jaclyn, Jia Huei, Stanley, and Leo on Sunday afternoon bout 4pm. It was very windy yesterday afternoon, but i was very excited and just glad at heart. (even though i cried like a crybaby during service few hours earlier).

The rest decided to "picnic" on such a beautiful beach (that's totally SALAH), lol.. while me, Chris, Evangeline and Johnson decided to soak in the water!!!

All four of us hold hand and ran straight to hit the water and stood there to be bashed by the coming big waves, it was Fantafabulous to be hit by the waves...!!!! =>

i mean, hold hands so that no one back out at last minute as the waves are coming =>

that applies to things in life as well, in cellgroup especially. Alright, i'm gonna share bout holding hands in cellgroup this friday..!!!!

Spend like 45mins in the water. waa waaa weeee...!!! After splashing water to Chris's back, we retreat to seaside, under the pine tree, on the grass and join the rest to play a card game, pretty interesting!!!!

Not long, Jaclyn spotted the sunrays through the clouds over the seas.

It was pleasant, too bad i din bring my camera. SO i got all this pics from Johnson hihihihiih.

Was just thinking.. Clouds aren't really good stuff, many times they are used as symbolism of something that is hindering people's life @ clouds over my life, it's dark, etc etc..

When we look at the sun on a clear sky, we see a very bright sun, all is well and good, clear and distinct..

When clouds come, what happened..?? it turns dark, we lost our stands and to some extend, our faith...

we fail to see the sunray, which is like extention of the sun, the "hands" of the sun...

Wait... Look at the pics...

the sun rays become even more evident through the gaps in between the clouds!

It is as if, the floor of heaven is opened and God's love, grace and mercy becomes more evident through the clouds in our lives.

God's power is manifested and people can testify through the clouds in our lives.

Lets not dwell in passiveness and discouragement, but look up and look to the sunray's in your lives, look for God's hand and him at work through the dark times in your lives. You will see, and you will see it even more clearly than before.

It is amazing. It is amazing. It is simply amazing.

Yesterday i went to BBT (bubble tea) with Sherwin, Shemuel, Shawn and David.

We had a really great time the whole day. That made my day ^^

Sherwin(6yr old) is cheeky and naughty, dont like putting seatbelt, pulls my hair in the car, but after that, he holds my hand with his tiny hands till we reach Euthopia! => lovely toddler! Love to hug him and piggy back him, but his mom forbid him to bully me, so i never piggy back him since then. HUH, yesterday afternoon in my house we're playing UNO cards. The winner gets to kiss sherwin HAHAHAH. Shawn won, but he didn't do the forfeit. Nevertheless Sherwin wanted to kiss me @.@''' ......... David said to him "must ask permission before u kiss her"... which is.. reasonable... okie...

Shemuel(13yrs old, just entered teenage stage, haha).. He's the Happy Apple.. cuz he's a happy boy, doesn't hold grudges (unlike me when i was his age), he gives in to Sherwin in most circumstances and still loves Sherwin (unlike me as well when i was his age), he finds joy in small small things in life and laugh alot alot (unlike me when i was his age).. and Apple because he's the apple of God's eyes, of his parents' eye, and of my eyes of cuz! hihiihi.. a young boy with great heart, great attitude, responsible and trustworthy.. I pray that he'll grow up as a man of God, so full with God's love and compassion, God's values and characters, and bless people around him. He's awesome!! May God continue to expand his heart ^^

Seeing how Shemuel treated Sherwin make me feel shameful of the way i treated my bro when i was Shem's age. Only much later in life i came to learn of this lesson of love. Now i see the importance of bringing up kids with God's teaching and principles. Really admire the Poh's family and the three siblings!! such a 180degree different from mine.

Shawn (15yrs old).. Aah, i remember that age, still battling with peer pressure, and still struggling in my attitude towards family (not so much towards friends though, because at that age, friends rule bigger than family)... I think at Shawn's age and with more advanced society now, he's facing bigger challenges than me back then.. Shawn is doing good, he's a good boy, loves and obey parents, spend time with his siblings even though there might be age gap between them.. It wont be long before all these precious time pass, and he'll reflect back and be grateful that he did make the choice to spend time with family to build the love and trust, and deepen their relationship as family... it also wont be long when he will enter adulthood, but it's really important for him to hold true to his faith and Godly character now.. i have faith in him, he will be a great man in the future as well, a great servant in the house of God..

They bless me by the way they live together as one family. It's good to grow up like that in a family.. I might not have grown up as such, but i've learnt to love my family and because of them, i have testimonies of God in my life. Testimonies that i can share with my cellgroup all the time. Experiences and lessons that make me grow up and bring me to truly depend on God, because only God's power and love can enable me to live victoriously despite circumstances.

BACK TO SATURDAY LAH...!! hahahahahahaha.. so after bubble tea, sent them back home while i went over to Marcus's house to help him prepare his wedding cards, ooowwwh so sweet they both, hahahaha =>

by 7.30pm, i was back in Poh's house for homecook dinner!!!! teeheehee! had dinner with Uncle Patrick as well...!!!

After dinner, we played UNO again, this time we modify the rule and it became Heart Attack and Speed. Seriously simple games but we had such a tremendously great time cuz Shem kept on laughing non-stop, as if he had overdose of laughter gas prior to that. and Sherwin who wants to play in all games but lost in all games cuz he's slow and he's only 6yrs old ler, how to competer with a 13yr old, a 15yr old and a 22yr old..??? hahahahahaha, so funny to the max!!!!

by 10pm David came as well after his friend's bday dinner. Aunty Ammie applied some lotion to his palm cuz he burnt his palm at his fren's bday dinner while helping with taking out the roast dish from the oven.

He joined in the card games and we continued laughing, wakakakakaka!!! super funny!!!!

by 11pm, Aunty Ammie appeared in the living room, ushering the kids to bed. We bid farewell, and left. the kids kept on saying "come again tomorrow okie".. "see you tomorrow" "see you tomorrow" "see you tomorrow".. tsk tsk tsk, miss them so much now.

Aunty Ammie so sweet la, she returned me my baking tray, and put two long buns in them for me, and some Subway cookies for me and David =>... hihihi.

I reached home 11pm. That pretty much summarized my happy day =>

Yeefang and Trecia came to overnight on 30th September, 3 of us were in my room. We chatted till 4am!!

hahahaha, it was so funny esp Yeefang who kept interrupting my story telling time, and Pokok-pokok who kept on correcting us on RT1 or TR1 and Wood or Black!!! Laughed and chatted and ... took some pics of cuz!!! =>

In the end, i slept with Trecia on the bed, while Yeefang with her sleeping bag beside us!!

Love u both so so so much!!!

On Thursday the 1st of October, i went to beach with Shawn ,Shemuel and Sherwin!

It was so much fun, though tiring at the same time!

We walked, took bus, walked again, took train, ran in and out and in again to the train (how silly is that!!!! only us did that, bet the other passengers in the train was thinking that we're siao lang!) hahahaha.

then we walked , and finally the beach!!!

awesome busome!

Imagine catching up physically with 2 teenagers and 1 toddlers! I'm already 22 @.@''' can feel the old-ness is getting on me! hahahahaha..

But we had so much fun collecting seashells!!!

Watched this movie on Tuesday night with Jaclyn, then decided to watch this together with my cellies in cellgroup.

And we did! the entire cell watched it yesterday night.

I could have cried, but i didn't because i know Junior they all would be watching out for my emo tears. =P

But yea, as i watched it for the second time, i took notes and realized how much can we learn from this video in relation to the 40days of love series going on in church now.

Catherine after fighting with her husband, Caleb, decided to put her ring into the drawer. That was what C.S.Lewis was saying when he wrote "To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broke. If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, no even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless - it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetratable, irredeemable"

Caleb did the act of kindness even when he didn't feel a thing at all towards his wife, Catherine. In the beginning, Caleb did the 40days of love dare for his father's sake. towards the end, when he come to learn what is love, he wanted to continue doing the 40days of love dare to really salvage his marriage. He went further by doing more than 40days, he did til 43 days!

In the same way, why not do the 40days of love because church ask us to do so, but along the way pray that we will see what is love, what is has to say of God's character, standard and value, and in the end, we will be changed and we want to do the 40days of love more!

Caleb's dad said that Caleb did it just enough to get by. Means he did just what is needed to pass. he did not put his heart into it, he is just merely fullfilling the motion rather than emotion. Likewise, we who have been christian for long has become comfortable to everyday life that we just do what's sufficient to get by as christian.

Then, in the movie, Caleb's friend, Micheal say "if you're in, you have to be all in, you can't be half in and say you're in".. So therefore, when we're in, we are all in, we dont do just enough but we do better. If my heart is not in, God knows. If we do just enough to pass, He knows. we need to repent and to be renewed.

in the end of the movie, Caleb said to Catherine "for the past 7 years, i've trampled on you with my words and actions. I have loved other things more than i love you."

Change the character and put it as me saying to God "for the past 22years, i've trampled on You with my words,actions and thoughts. I have loved other things on the world more than i love You."

That's some of the things i've written down. =>

Even though Fireproof is about marriage between man and woman, but it's also a reflection of our marriage to God when we commit our lives to Him. It has definitely brought the entire cellgroup a huge amount of reminders and lessons.

and it is so super duper comfy! really soft and light!

I've never had a proper cotton pyjamas before, and never knew it can be so comfy!

Day 6, here it comes!

Love everyone as your neighbour

We limit our love because of our differences.

Who is our neighbour? With the samaritan story on Luke 10:25-37 made it clear that there are no limits to our love.

On top of that, love your enemies and pray for those who persecuted you, Matthew 5:43-44.

When Jesus says neighbour, he meant everyone!

God's love is an "everyone/everywhere/all the time" kind of love;

human love is a "some people/some places/some of the time" kind of love.

God, that is so hard.. everyone/everywhere/all the time, even when hurts or disappointment is implicated....??

So he challenges us to love in a way we can only accomplish through daily dependence on his power.

Have i seek His power and love today to love everyone/everywhere/all the time? Have u?

We limit our love because of our fear

It's a risk to love. It's a genuine risk for that Samaritan to stop and help.

C.S.Lewis made this profound observation "To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broke. You may have experienced deep hurt because you made the choice to love. It would be natural to tell yourself, "I'm not going to open myself up to that kind of pain again."

Who wants to be wounded?

But C.S.Lewis statement reminds us that there is even deeper hurt to be found in not loving than in taking the risk of love.

Take the risk to love!

Take the risk, and begin again to love someone whom you've stopped loving or have refused to love.

Love is the greatest risk you'll ever take. There are people who will skydive off Yosemite Valley's El Captain, yet they are afraid to take the risk to love. I know CEOs who wouldn't flinch from a billion dollar deal, yet they are terrified to love. It's a risk to love, but it is the one risk worth taking more than any other.

Keep this in mind: the one relationship you can truly count on is your relationship to Christ Jesus.

Lean on your relationship to Him as you take the risk to love others.

Others may disappoint you- but Jesus will never fail you.

There's no need for me to write any further. This excerpt from book alone is more than enough to tell the world what it is with loving people.

But i know i don't love everyone/everywhere/all the time... It's hard, it's tough, because i am selfish, i am fearful, i have anger, i am hurt..

That brought up the question, do i try to love with human's selfish love.. or i forgot to depend on God to accomplish love?

Today in chapter 5 of the "40days of Love" book, i read about Loving God with all your mind and strength.

With all your mind

Philippians 4:8

Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such thing.

God hold us responsible for what we think. I can make choices about what i think that literally change the direction of my life.

Whatever is true? Meditate on God's truth.

Whatever is noble? Appreciate God's worth.

Whatever is right? Cooperate with God's plan.

Whatever is pure? Appropriate God's cleansing.

Whatever is lovely? Anticipate God's abundance.

To think about whatever is lovely is to let God entertain you. This may sound strange, because entertainment means sporting events, movies, television, plays and concerts. But couldn't the greatness, the abundance, the gifts of God entertain you in a different way- in fact, in a much greater way? - the sense of deeply enjoying something. Whatever you're doing- whether with your family or on vacation or at work- enjoy the abundance and the goodness of God. When looking at a blue sky or at the clouds drifting across, take a moment to be entertained by the creativity of God. Enjoy who he really is.

Whatever is admirable? Communicate God's encouragement.

If you're going to love God with your thoughts, you have to love the people he made in the same way. It's all to easy to see the faults in others. Loving God with all your mind involves looking for what's best in others and telling them, " i see something of God's character in you."

If anything is excellent, be motivated by God's greatness.

If anything is praiseworthy, celebrate God's goodness.

With all your strength

To love God with all your strength, there are 3 truths you must embrace.

1. you must have complete confidence that God can do absolutely anything. John 14:12

2. you must be completely convinced that you can do absolutely nothing of ultimate and eternal significance without the power of Jesus Christ. John 15:5

3. you must trust God to turn your weakness into his strength. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.

There is a difference between an honest admission of weakness and self-focused feeling of inadequacy. The chaos in my family taught me at an early age that there were things I wanted to change but had no power to do so. That experience, along with my personality and perspective, has made it all too easy to go down the road of focusing on my own inadequacy. It's a lot easier for me to see what i think God couldn't do through my life than to see what he surely can do.

I'm learning to make choice to accept my feelings of inadequacy as a weakness and to lean on God's strength.

Pray something like this, "Father you know how I'm feeling about myself right now. I'm tired of pretending i'm strong, so i ask you to use me in my weakness. I trust in your truth: when i am weak, you are strong. Amen."

what's written by Tom Halladay in this book couldn't be more true to me. This year i've unknowingly stop myself to be entertained by God, i stop gazing into the night sky and praise God for such a beautiful bed of stars. i stop looking at flowers along the way as i walk to school and thank Him for that day. i stop looking around me to see that God is such a breath-taking God.

This week is study week break, i made a decision to go to beach, somewhere i can just sit and gaze and be amazed once again, and let praises springs forth from my heart again.

And i learn that i can make choices about how or what i think that literally will change the direction of my life.

As learning to love God with all my strength, it is true, that me coming from a broken family background, knew that there were things i wanted to change, but had no power to do so. Somehow the experiences as i grow up made me a much self-reliant person, who wants to work things out independently, refusing and shutting myself of other people's help, and when cant, decide to not have it at all.

God healed my heart and my brokenness, yet i am to fully change my old ways of living, not to be self-reliant in some situations in life.. but to really depend on Him, and sometimes to be humble enough to accept grace from people around me.

The journey of 40days of love has just begun, but day after day, it has "renovation day" for me, for my heart, my thoughts, actions, decisions and life.

Indeed, the lesson of love is a lifelong learning process, to learn to love like He does.

Wednesday i was reading on Chapter 3 of "the relationship principles of Jesus"---> the 40days of love book lar..

It talks about loving God with all your heart.

We have to choose to do something different in our lives because of the example and power of Jesus's life. Will you choose to act in new ways this week?

You see the example from David's psalms. He's facing a huge problem, and he begins to pour out his heart. He talks to God with emotions about his problems. And before he comes to the end of the psalm, his heart is at peace. The problems are still there, but David's heart has been refocused in the course of twenty or thirty verses of the psalm.

David's heart is settled in twenty or thirty verses, yet some of us live with unsettled hearts on an issue for twenty or thirty years!

Talk to God about your feelings.

Talk to God about your weaknesses.

Talk to God about His strength.

Tell God your fears.

Pour out to God the desires of your heart.

Openly and emotionally admit your sins to God.

Say out loud what you know to be true.

Instead of living in old ways of broken and hurtful relationships, we can choose to do something different in our lives, because of the power of Living God in me. I choose to act in new way this week, make a decision to show that he/she is worth my time, smile, and get involve in personal conversation and once again invest in relationship with people around me.

Church started the 40days of love last Sunday..

Day 1:

This is the love of a couple who made the choice to continue to love, even in the midst of most crushing of circumstances- Neal having chosen to practice sacrificial love in a marriage that wasn't close to what he and Robin had dreamed it would be, and robin having chosen to accept and return Neal's love rather than allowing her own hurt to push him away.

Relationships are painful. Relationships are wonderful. We all live in drama that plays out between these two truths.

Here's the truth Jesus taught us: Nothing is more important than relationships.

Here's the question: Supposed you're in a rubber life raft with a friend. You're approaching an island. The raft is leaking, and you're within sight of land. In the raft with you are a set of signal flares, a week's supply of canned food, and a five gallon container of water. You must throw one of these items overboard if you're going to make it to the island. Which one do you choose?

I have to admit, the first answer that hit me was "the friend". This silly thought that leaped over my mind was a reminder of how easy it is to value things over people.

Mark 12:28-34

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'There is no commandment greater than these." "Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

From the beginning till the end, nothing is more important that relationships. In the beginning, God created you for relationships. He made you to relate to him and to others. Miss out on relationships, and you're missing the core reason for which God put you on this planet. And in the end, nothing is more important, because nothing will last longer than relationships. Your relationship with God and others will last all the way into eternity.

As i closed my book for the 1st day of journey, i sat there reflecting this year. There are people that i've missed out to love, putting task over relationship , putting issues over relationship, putting exams over relationship. Before it's too late, i commit to show love and put relationship as my highest priority and value.

Nothing is more important than relationship, and that means first to God, then second to people.

Today went for dinner in my Pokok-pokok's house (aka Trecia the Cute) and Erwin. We talked about the story of a tree and two rubber tappers..

There is one tree in the piece of land.. Rubber tapper no.1 saw the tree and went to tap the milk out from the tree.. rubber tapper no.2 saw the incidence and decided to go to sleep..

HAHA, it'll be interesting if you actually manage to understand this story, cuz it is not meant to be understood, except for me, Trecia and Erwin..

It's a sad song.. @.@''' but cant help not listening cuz it's just too nice..

There's peace in heart now, after meditating on Psalm 32:8-11.

I am just an ordinary (next-door-gal says Tommy) who is ordinary at heart. Who feels upset over a flaw, or disappointed over a relationship, angry over uncleaned kitchen..

When i knew that people i know is hiding something from me, it really just make me upset. My heart is like the wild wind outside the window(its very windy today in Perth), blowing strongly in all directions not knowing what is the right and correct thought.

I wanted so much to say that i am not a person who can tolerate flaws in a relationship (friendship or kinship), yet over many occasions i learnt that God he took upon Himself the flaws of the world and love them still so much. He loves me still so much when i'm so full of flaws. Yet i feel disappointed and upset when there is flaw in relationship with people..

side track a little (overheard this from church):
when i feel that i do not deserved to be loved by God for all my flaws, then that means i do not know yet the full measure of the love of God, which is immesureable..
i was like "this cant be true".. but it is true!!
The full love of God accepts and forgives, heals and restores.. all things!

SO what's my current update..??

I've attend Maximum Impact Simulcast. It's like a leadership seminar that is run simultaneously (hence the name Simulcast = Simultaneously broadcasted) all over the world in participating churches, all at the same time.. Speakers involves a hugee variety of influential and powerful leaders of the world, not to miss the great motivational speakers such as John C.Maxwell, Tony Blair, Ernie Johnson, Kevin Carroll, Jack Nicklaus, Linda Kaplan Thaler, Al Weiss, Mark Sanborn, Bill George.. and my most favourite speaker of the day, Liz Murray!!

overall ,it was awesome , many principles, motivations and thoughts that they put forth was very very .... ah, let me summarize the points to you!

From Linda Kaplan Thaler:
if something is too complex, simplify your brain and break the problem to small pieces.
Never underestimate the power of small talk (not gossip!!) and the power of interpersonal skills.

From John C.Maxwell:
When you own your dream, you became from the believer to a buyer of your dream. If you own your dream, you're gonna do things that other people think its impossible!
Disappointment = gap between reality and dream.
Do i have firm faundation to my dream? i can make a choice.

What's so amazing about Liz Murray? She shared true-heartedly about her experiences and and how she faced homelessness, death of mother, financial challenges, emotional struggles, social condemnation and etc.. she made me opened my eyes so big, my ears so alert and my mind completely focused on her as she talked.. and at the end of the whole sharing, ppl in the DVD stood up in amazement and applause. She made me feel what i'm facing is so insignificantly and small, that i can pull through them with the least energy and life that i still have. Even if i lose everything, i still have my hands and legs. She said so many inspirational words but i couldnt get my eyes of her as she speaks i ended up didnt write down a thing. But i know what she said relates to me so much, in the end i teared A LITTLE.

I am so inspired to live my life, from now onward with bravery, hope and perseverence!!!

I must get back to the habit of writing. Cuz when i look back many years later, i'll be reminded of what happened, what i've experienced, and what i've learned. It's gonna be awesome journey with little moments along the way. I want to pen all my little moments down, big or small, happy or sad, sun or rain, poor or rich, well or ill. ^^ hahaha.

What's my updates?

Alright, I'm going back on the 1st of Dec 2009 (again) yeah. I am looking forward to visit Cheras Night Market. Tommy called me "pasar malam junkie" hahahaaha.

Am not sure what's the plan for Dec in Sitiawan, but i guess, i miss doing all the things that i did in the past, like helping mum's cellgroup to cook food, going around town eating, lie flat on the living room floor and read The Star, goes to church every now and then for the kids dance practises, supper, more of quiet time reading...

Now there's this few sentences ringing in my mind, learn it from Zion some time ago----
"Do not dwell in past glories/grief.. Do not hold on to the past that i miss doing something greater for present and future.. " which i cant agree more...!!!

well, lets look forward to Dec and im sure something greater is yet to come.

And i've already book my ticket to go India on 2nd Jan 2010. It's gonna be my first even self-funded mission trip. Talking bout self-funded, i must really thank God for his provision!
See, i dont have money to go for mission trip but i've yearned to go for mission for some time already. And through serving the church during orientation, i was given the responsibility to lead a group of international students to be volunteers around uni for that particular period of orientation. With that position, comes salary, not much, but it IS ENOUGH to cover for my flight and my spendings there ^^. and what's more, God's timing is always so perfect. It was only this semester that i was receiving salary as Volunteer Leader, and it was also this semester that Ziech call for Zion's first ever mission team to form and respond to God's calling to go into India.

then ring ring, there comes another sentence which i learnt in Zion some time ago "Use what God has given to us for his glory". Now that God has provided me money, i am really thankful that i can use it to go for mission!!

Praise Good for his goodness and mercy in my life today!

My project

1. Dig from store room a towel no longer in use, but has the thickness of a sponge (use towel cuz couldnt find sponge in the house ^^) measure and cut it according to the perimeter of the bible.
2. Also dig out unused cardboard from bookshelf, cut it according to the perimenter of the bible as well. as shown in the picture above.

3. Dig out super glu for craft (found it in the pile of stationaries given by Priscilla ^^).. hehe, use it to permanently stick the cardboard onto both ends of the towel. As shown in the picture.

4. Found this old shirt of mine that was bought 4 years ago in the cupboard when i went back Msia 2.5weeks ago, decided to use it as bible cover. Well, this shirt was short and i no longer wear it, but stil kept it as it was my favourite shirt. hihi..

5. Again measure and cut according to bible parameter, but this time leave at least 6cm excess on all sides of the perimeter to make allowance for the zipper of the bible.

It's time to blog. after such a long break from this page. ^^

I just came back from Msia, it has been fantastic. There were people that i missed seeing (family la) and ppl that i missed spending time with ( i got to see lin foong almost everyday when im back in Msia ^^ ).. there were food, cinema and shoppings! it was a much long awaited rest..

But on the day i arrived back in perth(yesterda), I realized something great happened. It was during the night prayer rallies in Chin Hock Methodist church. Pastor Henry from Uganda was present. On the first night i was there, he led me to re-release praying in tongue. Like i haven't been praying in tongue like that for really long. Not that my church in perth doesnt practise that, but it's just different. little that i know, praying in tongue revived my faith and my walk with God one more time. Pastor Henry kept on proclaiming "release it , release it , release it, pray pray pray..!!!"

This time break isnt just a break for physical rest, but spiritual renewal and recharge. I cant explain it , but i can feel it ^^ like, im really glad in heart, and light.. and i know i'm being recharged again through the many nights of prayer meetings with other church members.

Then right, on the sunday morning that i arrived in perth, i visited Faith Community Centre FCC together with Dr.Wong and 7 other people related to Dr.Wong. (FYI, Dr.Wong has been my dad's guardian, she's awesome lady, a passionate practitioner of faith, a great prayer warrior!!!!)
And it was rlly awesome that Pastor Benny Ho was preaching on that Sunday!!!!
And it was about Praying in Tongue too...!!!!!!!
"bang" its double confirmation of God's msg to me!!!!

okie, if i explain wil be too long, so i'll just copy straight from my notes, i'm sure u'll be able to understand my notes!!

3 things you need to know bout Praying in Tongue:

A) remove barriers
- 1 Cor 12:13
when we accept God, we'll be baptised by Holy Spirit into the body of Christ. this happen during conversion.
-Luke 3:16
Jesus will baptised you with Holy Spirit and fire.
result is Empowering of God in your life, releasing of God's power! not baptised to be saved (as salvation does not come from baptised but from faith). but baptised to be empowered with Holy Spirit and fire. This takes place After conversion.
- 1 Cor 1:7
Do not lack spiritual gifts while waiting for the second coming of jesus. Speaking in tongue resonate with God. Speaking in tongue is resource for prayer, worship, service, life, spiritual warfare, intercession! It just comes out, overflows from the abundance in the heart. But however, do not be tempted to use speaking in tongue as proof of our spirituality.
- Mark 16:17-18
if Jesus sees it fit to give us this spiritual gift, who are we to say we dont need it.

2) Realize the benefits of Speaking in tongue.
-Jude 20
BUILD UP YOUR HOLY FAITH, BY PRAYING IN TONGUE.
also activates the gifts of the spirit. pray in tongue until revelation comes, pray in spirit.
- prayin in tongue releases misteries to God and reveals misteries from God. "speaking former secret into light". something previously unknown but now been revealed. even hidden pain and hurts (this explains why some ppl suddenly cry when being prayed for in tongue). hidden gifts are also being revealed. God will reveal it and heal it.
- Romans 8:26-28
praying in tongue enriches your prayer life. key to effective prayer cuz praying in tongue prays according to His will...!!

3) receive the blessings!

Awesome words and i was edified that morning!

and i thank God this time in KL, i happened to be in MPH and i bot this mini bible, one that i can put in bag and carry with me anytime to anywhere!! today i read it in library over the lunch time!! it was just awesome!!!!

And i'm looking forward to hand-sew a cover for this bible. so that it last long with me, and the living word of God wil bless me everyday!!!

and then at night right, Dr Wong and another two great prayer warriors prayed for me !!! (well, we're together for church, lunch and then dinner, and before we depart, they prayed for me)..
they prayed and i cried badly. other than Dr Wong, i only met the other two that day. But the things that they prayed over me was so accurate and spesific to me. It couldnt be them, it must be God who speaks through them. God is so good, my God is the God who knows every single thing about me and cares for me.
Okie, 3 issues they prayed over me was issue of fear ( i was fearful of darkness after the incident where my room was broken into early this year, and am stil fearful when i went back to Msia, in my very own house in Sitiawan, fear followed me ,but by faith, i believe God almighty casts away my fear that Sunday night).
secondly it is concerning my future. I have to admit that lately have been pondering quite a lot about my future after i graduate. But God through them gave me His promise that he has bright future for me. He will use me mightily to touch lives.
Dr.Wong even see vision for me. and she explained it to me too. i am just amazed at God!
then they prayed for another issue which is... actually quite personal so i decided not to write it down this time. probably next time. ^^

there were prophesies given to me too. And reassurance that my heart is all given to God. I am His precious and beloved daughter.

That night i cried rlly badly, cuz hidden issues in my life was being revealed and delt with before God. and He gave me relief,healing, rest and promises. I can trust in His words!

I have a dream place to go
BORA BORA ISLAND

it's really just in the middle of no where, unseen unheard.. try to locate a red "A" in the pic above, that's where Bora Bora is. I reckon the flight to the island itself would hav cost a bomb, cuz i measure using a ruler where if 2cm = 2000km.. then 12cm = 12ooo km....!! from Perth to Bora Bora...
cant believe there's such an island with this kinda shape, everyone says "WOOOAHH.... o.O".....
Who has the vast creativity to create such a place, if not Lord, Father of jesus, whom we worship and adore.. ^^

Alright, using Google map, there's more than 100 places to visit on the island, and there's a church there too...!!!

However, one muffin was found to have end-terminal tumor.... Tumor was successfully removed and muffin survived to be a healthy one..!

Seriously, i am rebelious today...
I have nothing at home to eat for lunch, i told Jac to include me in if she's going out for lunch, then i walked pass my room, saw all the raw ingredients for baking (the box that keep these ingredients is located on walkway along my roomwall ma)... so i decided to bake my lunch..

i googled... for muffin.. click onto Chocolate Chip Muffin, scanned through that it's simple enough for me to bake, so off i embarked on the journey to prepare my lunch..

Chocolate Chip Muffins ingredients list:

¾ lb chocolate chips.
1/3 lb of soft butter.
4 medium eggs.
2 ½ cups of flour.
1 cup of sugar.
¼ cup of milk.
1 tablespoon of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract.
½ teaspoon of salt.

Instructions for Chocolate Chip Muffins:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and butter your muffin pan.
Beat the butter and the vanilla extract together to form a light, airy mixture.
One at a time, add the eggs, and beat gently.
Add ¼ cup of the sugar after each egg and mix thorougly.
Put the baking powder and salt in the milk, then add to the mixture.
Fold in the flour and the chocolate chips.
Pour the mix into your buttered muffin pan, filling each cup two-thirds full.
Bake for 25 minutes or until muffins turn golden brown.

But somehow along the way, human nature (cheah yen's nature) prompted me to MODIFY some of the methods and ingredients....

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and butter your muffin pan. (yerp i did^^)

2. Beat the butter and the vanilla extract together to form a light, airy mixture. (hand got tired of holding the Hand Mixer + dont know what it means by "light airy mixture" so while the butter still looks like butter, i proceeded to next step)

3. One at a time, add the eggs, and beat gently. (yep i think i followed this one)

4. Add ¼ cup of the sugar after each egg and mix thorougly. (i followed as well, but the mixture is looking like "creaming" has occured, the butter partitioned from the egg, they didnt mixed well, like heterogeneous cream rather than homogeneous...nevertheless i proceed with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th egg, and beat more so that the butter goes into mixture, but nah >.<.

5. Put the baking powder and salt in the milk, then add to the mixture.(great, found baking powder and put 1 whole tablespoon into it, at least muffin is gonna kembang anyway even if something went wrong inside the muffin!..... but i couldnt find any milk in the fridge...... so i skipped this ingredient together with salt)

6. Fold in the flour and the chocolate chips. ( mmmmm, early before starting to bake, i took out wholemeal four, not plain flour... lazy to change it, i proceed using wholemeal flour......... choc chip couldnt be found, so i used raisins and nuts from the leftover from previous test-baking experience....)

(that's not it... after folding in the flour, the mixture looked to thick, cuz i remembered Jaclyn's muffin mixture wasnt that thick before... sigh...... scared that it wont kembang, i searched through the fridge again for signs of milk.... then i found Janica's chocolate milk and soya bean..... after doing some predictability calculation mentally, i decided to use Jan's choc milk... not 1cup as mentioned in method, but only 1/2 cup... cuz her choc milk is finishing so dare not use 1cup, woah! when Janica read this post, she's gonna come to my room and rotan me for using her choc milk, tsk tsk tsk tsk... kekekeke, joking!!! ............................................ so poured 1/2 cup of CHOC MILK into final mixture, mixed it all up nicely............. as if)

7. Pour the mix into your buttered muffin pan, filling each cup two-thirds full. (FINALLY!)

Bake for 25 minutes or until muffins turn golden brown.

with such an extend of modification to the original recipe, i wonder what comes out from Oven later.

Described as Australia's greatest artificial reef, the Busselton Jetty is home to an awesome forest of brightly coloured corals, sponges, fish and invertebrates. Busselton Jetty is the longest wooden jetty (pier) in the southern hemisphere , stretching almost 2 km out to sea from the town of Busselton, WA . Because the shallow waters of Geographe Bay restricted ship movement, a long jetty was required so that the cut timber could be transported to the ships. In 1839 Governor Hutt appointed "the place in Geographe Bay opposite the Settlement at The Vasse to be the legal place for the loading and unloading of goods".

The underwater observatory was opened on 13 December 2003 at a cost of AUD $3.5 million.
Since that time, over 250,000 people have visited the attraction. The underwater observatory is located 1.8 km from shore - almost at the end of the Busselton Jetty - and can accommodate up to 40 people at a time in its 9.5 m diameter observation chamber. Descending 8 metres below sea level, visitors can view the corals and fish life through eleven viewing windows.

Yesterday we're in Abacus lab studying. Two of my frens and me were there. One friend called and asked if we wanted anything from MacD and it was already about 11pm. I wanted coke, my another fren wanted fries. So this fren of mine made the smartest-cum-loveliest decision ever! He bought a Meal- there's coke, fries and a burger of choice!!! on top of that, he got to buy this Bored(BOARD) Game at only $1 when he purchased a meal from MacD. muahahahahah!!

i think he somehow figured out this bored(BOARD) game suits me alot... so he gave it to me... =.=''' but it was very nice one, and i am yet to explore how to play this Trivial Pursuit. thanks thanks!!!! i love it a lot....!!!! ^^

Today i recieved my results for some of the tests conducted few days ago. It was really really low. I passed but it was so so so low compared to the total average mark of the rest of the 150 students.... I was very upset and discouraged.......

after the lab session, i went to do grocery shopping with Janica. Once i reached home and unpacked the groceries, i went straight to my room....

I questioned God , "why why ... why .... why...??" I prayed, i kept quiet... i asked God to be merciful to me.. to grant me grace... to help me.... i kept quiet again... then i prayed to Him to help me to give thanks no matter what..

After prayer, i decided to flip the bible and continue reading from where i stopped.. it was in Romans 8... as i read... this passage strucked me that.. nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can seperate me from the love of God...

³¹What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? ³²He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ³³Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. ³⁴Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. ³⁵Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? He holds nothing back from us, he wil gives them all freely to us, cuz He has given His most precious Son to us. What else can He not bless us with?

How weak am i to forget about His love when situations turns unfavorable!!

Lord God forgive me for my lack of faith and lack of love. Forgive me that i did not fix my eyes on you when i get bad results. Forgive me for questioning what You have given to me. Father God, i asked again for You to be merciful and gracious onto me. Open my eyes to Your unending love and Your goodness for all the time. thank you Lord so much for your beautiful promises, and i will continue to proclaim that only You have the control over my life. Some wierd feeling makes me wanna post some pictures in blog. hasnt been doing so for so long, hahahaha ^^ And i changed my hairstyle as u can see here...

then i rebond it so it looked straight... and i went to Belgium, hence the pic u see now..

it's 5.20am... i couldnt sleep..

i received sms from Pris at 2.30am that she's leaving Perth for good, to the eastern state to work...
her flight is on coming Sunday night..

then my tears couldnt stop coming down... i sob and cried and sob and cried... for hours... i just couldnt sleep...

all the memories with Pris flash back like a happy movie but it brings sadness to my heart..

i remember the days in September and October, every now and then that Pris rings me up to go out for lunch or dinner..

I remember one day after my final exam, i went to library to accompany her so that she will not feel bored studying alone for her Pharmacy VIVA test, and then we headed for lunch in vic park....

I remember the korean restaurant and the International Cafe, and the super expensive Indonesian restaurant , all of them in Vic Park, the dark alley where we park the car, when Pris forgotten if she has locked her car, when we just walk along the streets enjoying the night..

i remember the Summer day in November when Pris brings me to Northbridge.. when we walked along the streets on day time, jumping from one bun shop to another bun shop looking for a special bun.. and from one restaurant to another restaurant looking for nice satisfying lunch... and she laughing at my silliness for being a "mushroom" and me laughing at her silliness when talking with a mouthful of food..
then she told me she's gonna bring me out for food more often, to try out all the nice food around perth...

i remember the nights in Northbridge when we had Bibimbap as dinner, and then bubble tea, and then we walked along the streets again in Northbridge looking at all sorts of people that come out for dinner and coffee and clubbing at night.. then we sneaked in to a snooker shop, and look at the people playing snooker and we walk and we walk and we walk before coming back home..

i remember the days when she brought me to Carousel to shop for some stuff, and me waiting while she try on cloths and us looking around for food.. when i teased her for being full by just looking at food and not eat them.. and she telling me all sorts of nice foods and where to get them..

i remember one day when she message me from Malaysia that she was actually in Sitiawan, following a tour with her pastor and church members... i was so excited i told her the foods in sitiawan, and how i wish i was in Sitiawan to bring her around, as she has always bring me around in Perth..

because she is very tall, so i walked holding to her arm most of the time when we're out together, either for food or for walk walk... i listen to her whine bout her worries of future, while she listen to my complaints and nonsense bout my studies...

it was all nice, i never thought it would come to an end..

No more, bringing me out to walk walk along the streets and hunt for food..

No more talking and listening to Pris...

No more, holding to a tall-and-lovely Pris's arm when walking....

no more seeing her in person for some time...

but i knew that she knew she has to make a decision, one that is good for her career and future..
when she told me she found a job in Melb and is flying over in 5days time...

i knew God blesses her, and i love to have her blessed and leading a fulfilling life!
i love Priscilla so much, cuz she treats me like a younger sister, a person whom i can manja with, a loving gentle arm tat i hold everytime we walk together while listening to each other talking..

my tears dry up as i write this post.. finally...

i thought gone were the days where i cry a lot..
when i cried 3 days after realizing a guy that i liked, had a girlfriend..
when i cried 2days after sending Lin foong off to airport knowing i wont be able to see her for years...
no, it is not gone yet...

it is so dangerous to love.. because when we love, we put our heart in a fragile position, giving complete right for our heart to be broken anytime... and yet we love, because love is so beautiful it overweigh anything else....

i will send her off on Sunday night with full blessings, i will smile and let her know i love her, i will miss her a lot..
i will buy her her favourite food from Carousel, i will develop a photo of us so that she can keep in her purse all the time, i will continuously remember her to remember me and to sms me.. i will hug her tight and hold her arm... i will write her all the things i remember about her and the restaurants we've been to.. i will giv her a beautiful keychain so that she can use it to hold the key to her new place in Melb..
i will send her off with tears and prayers..

Attended 50% of the Walk Through The Bible seminar today!! i left halfway, i went home, study and get ready for dance practise at church office.. it was very interesting, the speaker Dr.Gary Colesman is very interactive, and he makes sure we are following his seminar!! all the events and places and people in the New Testament seems to linked together better today than before....!!!! there's like 400yrs of silence, yada yada, Israel, hopes, Rome rose, four distinct views, one good news, jerusalem birth, carpenter, jordan,baptised by John, wilderness tempted by Satan. all the key words of important events, places, and people were made memorisa-able thru actions! and he led the congregation to pratically walk through the new testament with all the actions and keywords!!! awesome, now that things in the bible are linked, it will definitely help people (blur ppl like me) to understand better whats is happening in Bible, and more importantly the Big Picture...!!!!
p/s: the sharing of what actually happened during the 400 yrs of silence is actually very very interesting and amazing, of how politics rises, power fights, domination takes place, and communication expands, traveling made easy, all leading to the preparation of the people for the arrival of the birth of the Messiah and allowing the Gospel spread easily after 400yrs...!!!

today is our 4th day of dance practise for easter. it's gonna be combination of Contemporary and Hip Hop. song titled "Love song for #1 by Corrinne May" and " Cant go on by Group 1 Crew". yea.. ^^ am loving it, am enjoying it!!

one thing i always struggle to present during the dance is my look, the "Attitude Look!" for the hiphop part... huuhuuu, i look at my own reflection at the mirror in church office and tried out my expression for the song, Alamak Nasi Lemak, i look super funny with my expression......!!!!! uuuhuuuhuuu~~~~~ hahahah it's gonna be funny and i'll have Awesome time trying to make the Attitude Look out....!!!!! Alamak Nasi Lemak la.....!!!!

but anyway, i reached home, watched Bride's War with Janica and Evan while having late dinner after dance... and.........

mmmm.... i dun wanna fight either..... whatever it is, Lin Foong Cheng, i really want you to be there on my wedding day.. you hav always been there for me, always..... and i'm sorry for fighting, for being rude... but yea, i stil dun agree to ur point... love ya always.

Anyways, Ps.Dr.Phillip Lyn is preaching tomorrow, and i love listening to him speaking! i cant wait for church tomorrow....!!!!!!

I attended Usha's and Joanne's graduation on the 14th Feb 2009.

it was an awesome night. everywhere everyone is smiling! an old chinese uncle, with his hunched back, was dressed neatly. even though he walked very slowly, but there's this huge huge huge smile on his face man...!!!! like, he's attending his first ever grandchild's graduation or something like that..!! everyone was happy, excited...! usha and Joanne look stunning that night as well....!!! their parents were with them, taking photos and smiling and laughing!

also, we happened to sit at the place where we got to see fireworks shooting up from the ground before it exploded into beautiful colours and formation in the dark sky....!!! it lasted for 15mins and i was just awed! at the same time, the song "time to say goodbye" being sung live from an opera lady on the stage.
graduation is a very meaningful moment..!!!

am so so so inspired to graduate and bring my parents over to attend my graduation ceremony. ^^

1. relieved to finally quit my pharmacy job, cuz it's taking too much toll on me, physically. i almost lost the anticipation and excitement of daily living...

To PPW,

Tonight our church is having ZLM- Zion Leaders Meeting in regards to this coming big sunday, the Freshies Welcome Sunday. it's the sunday when we invite new students in uni to join us in celebration on Sunday morning, the day when we're crowded with new friends, hence new souls that we are looking forward to invest in, to bring to salvation and to join us in the God's big family.

i myself am looking rlly forward to this ZLM meeting, because of the atmosphere where all the church leaders gather, and are so so so deeply madly worshipping God and praying out loud for this Sunday and for all the new friends in our midst.

and so coincidently i was scheduled to work tonight in the pharmacy. for the past 24hrs i hv been trying to find other staff to replace me but to no avail. i went to work, hoping that manager wud let me off one hour early so i can join ZLM but unfortunately she didnt allow me to do so. i was dishearten.

after work, i headed to ZLM venue, along the way, feeling deep regret/sadness/grief (well, not so dramatic but it was something like that). ZLM is almost ending by the time i arrived. i missed the powerful worship, i miss the prayer, i miss the amazing fellowship, i miss the testimonies time. the feeling of missing out something great is hitting hard on me. Then i reflect, what if we missed out so great and we actually realized we missed it..?

do you realized what u have missed today as Christian, his follower ..? something great something amazing, something that is already in front of you yet you missed it..? is it opportunity to serve, opportunity to repent, opportunity to be a part of doing something great for God, opportunity to build a deeper relationship with God, opportunity to shape your character, opportunity to take up more responsibilty, opportunity to be out of the comfort zone...?

if i had known earlier the regret and grief that i would feel for missing the ZLM, i would have negotiate/plan much earlier with my manager to get a (legal) leave from tonight's work.

and now surely i know God's plan is to prosper me, and i will not want to miss out any of His great plan in my life, for fear the feeling of regret/grief will be too horrible to bear.

Pray that our spiritual eyes be opened to His plan, pray that our Spirit is strong and willing, and that our flesh will submit to Spirit.

TO ZPH Community Service,

Christmas is just around the corner. Everyone is busy shopping for Christmas gifts on the latenight shopping and weekends. Everyone is looking for gifts to bless dear ones. Community Service Ministry too, sees the need to bless the community during this celebration season.
On the 14th of December after Sunday Celebration, a group of Young Adults and Passion people gathered in Zion Centre to practice for caroling. Led by Crystal and Bao Ting, this group of people prepared themselves for caroling to “Nursing Home”. I too, was given such privilege when invited by Usha to join the caroling.

We arrived at “Nursing Home” and without delay, made our way to the common room where the residents were already waiting. Everyone took their position in a choir formation and started caroling. Carol songs such as like Silver Bells and Felix Navidad instantly lifted up the atmosphere in the room. Many residents clapped their hands in respond to the melodious tunes. Some even sang along with us and move their body harmoniously with the songbeats.

Despite their age and physical limitation, these residents look bubbly and vibrant with huge smile on their faces. Two particular residents expressed their gratitude to me with much tears, kisses on my cheeks and tight hug that seemed hard to depart.

I cried as well because I could no longer hold back the tears. Tremendous joy and contentment overflowed my heart that very instant. I was also deeply humbled by their gratitude. Very soon, it was time to say goodbye to the “nursing home”. I went home heart broken and overwhelmed.

Though not verbally, the residents taught me the real joy and contentment, one lesson that I have long forgotten as Christian. Like God, who gave his one and only begotten Son to the world, us too can play our parts on earth by spreading and sharing the joy and hope to the needy community around us. What’s more, I learn that sometimes the best gift that we can offer is not physical materials, but true joy, happiness, hope and peace that fill one’s life inside out. I prayed that through this experience, my heart is broken for good purpose.

Curtin Sem 1 Orientation 2009 is all over my head... booking of Guild house common room, prayer meeting, YA cars availability, beach event, IO... not to forget, testimony for Community Service which is like one week late from its duedate...!!!!

but i decided to dedicate tonight to a friend very dear in my life... Miss Huong Yu Wan....!!!

she arrived from KL to perth on thursday night, gonna spend 24hrs here and then flying off to Melb on friday midnight...!!!

we talked to sleep on thursday night ^^ and we wore exactly the same tshirt too!!!!

the next morning, after chatting with one of my hometown fren, i went to living room to spend time with her.. yuwan was playing several songs through her laptop while i was lying beside her eating fruits,overlooking the view of Stannard St outside the window.. the weather was fine.. in the kitchen, red bean soup was busy boiling to cook.. all was sweet and peaceful...
friendship offers queitness that soothes the soul..

so after waiting for YanPin and Greg and his sister to come and collect the steamboat pot, me and yuwan headed to Vic Park, we took the bus ^^
other nice restaurants were closed...!!! apa pasal?? i dunno either, so we ended up in this Han's Cafe.. the food was nice, the onwer of the reataurant wasnt rlly, the owner was shouting at the top of her voice towards her husband la, etc etc, hahahaha, kinda scary.. but that was fine...!!!! cuz...
Friendship provides perfect company when situation around seems so messed up...
there was 20mins left so we crossed the road to Baskin Robins... wanted to have my all time favourite, green tea ice cream....!!!! will only take this one from Baskin Robins, wouldnt settle for others ^^

while yuwan had her Vanilla-plus-choc-cookies, i think!!!!! hahaha.. see she was so happy ^^ so so so pretty...!!

then after finishing the ice cream, crossed the road again to the bus stop, waited for bus ^^

before we came out for lunch, yuwan was teaching me how to play this song called "Wo Xu Yao Ni Zai Wo Sheng Ming Zhong" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYG5P-erhUU&feature=related) ... it was the song introduced to me by Priscilla, then then taught by yuwan tat very afternoon...!!! felt in love straight away...!!

i saw that Yuwan has the song book with this song in it, so i was half-jokingly saying "yuwan, i know what i want for my 22nd birthday ady!!!! i want a photocopy of ur song book, can can can..????" ...

i know la me super beh paiseh.... haiz... but that's means yuwan is very dear and close to me, that i can be myself, and be honest with her about my dreams and desire, about every single thing...!!!! and the best part is, i know she wouldnt mind at all me putting forth my request like that to her ^^ .....!!!!
but eventually i made a photocopy of that particular page from her, and i was pretty sure that's it...!!! and for the rest of the afternoon we're stil at home, i kept on making noises

"yuwan, teach me pls"..

" i shower later la, i wanna learn now, yuwan so teach me"...

i didnt realize at all..

until, two days later, which was today, sunday after church, when i came home and accidentally saw my name on a white envelope, placed neatly on the black shelf in the living room....!!!! i was a lil surprised..!!!

and right underneath of the envelope i recognised the song book....!!!!!!

i almost went teary eyes!!!!

i knew it has to be from yuwan!!!!!

no other person!

i opened the envelope and in it was my 22nd birthday card....!!!!!!!!

sobs sobs....

she's the sweetest...!! i knew she brought the songbook from her hometown so that she can play songs from the book when she's in Melb..and she definitely loves playing gospel songs with the piano....!!

but now she gave me her precious songbook, just bcuz i was making noises and i wanted to learn the song so badly... she gave to me things that are precious to her....

friendship gives what is most precious..

now i want the whole wide world to know God blessed me with such a wonderful friend.. one who has changed my perspectives and challenged me to be a better person... she taught me the lesson of loving and forgiving, the lesson of true giving, the lesson of faithfulness.....

yuwan!!!!!! i hope u see this blog!!!!! i will strive to practise harder and so that one day, i wil be able to send a perfect song to you....!!!!!! wanna make u proud and glad, make ur songbook worthwhile...!!!!

in the bus, she sent me to my work place while i had confident in her that she can find her way back to my house!!!! she did! she's a very smart gal...!!!!!

yuwan as cute as ever....!!!!!! she might look cute, but her life speaks of a volume much more greater than this post can contain....!!!!

On the 01-01-09, i did something different...

despite hatred of getting darker in summer, i decided to go to Rottnest Island.. main reasons being because Fenny is going (hence i love going just because she is going), and i wanna do something different (that is, exposing myself to the sun)... mind you, 01-01-09 was the hottest day in summer with temperature reaching a freaking 40degrees okie....!!!!!

we gathered at Fremantle Port... Genesis came to pick me and several others, and we headed to the port.. it was EEEEEEAAArly in the morning, 7am...

after collecting our tickets at the port, we boarded a very super cosy nice ferry for a pleasurable 30mins journey to the island....!! i missed my breakie but kind Charlyn gave me a tlc cupcake (tender loving care cupcake)... hahahahaha... and oh, i'm the youngest gal in the trip oh! ^^ feel like a kid following a group of older people.. hahahahahaha...

that's me, julia and fenny... arrived at Rottnest Island already.. waiting for the rest to gather and had a short briefing before departing..

top left is the ferry.. all the people in the pic were those that were there in our group.. we're collecting our rented bicycles... cycling in Aus is bit funny, they require us to put on the safety cap/hat..?? topi keselamatan, kekekekek... everyone looked as if they have bigger brains.. hahahah ^^ funny funny...!!!! there you go... me and julia and our "big brains" hahahahahahahah.....!!!

me, fenny and Julia started our journey.. wah, hasnt been cycling for ages...!!! i rmmber once upon a time, when i cycled super alot to church in the morning to meet up with Hui Nee and study in the church library before cycling back in the noon and get ready for afternoon school... heeheee... that was 8yrs ago.. but anyways, cycling in Rottnest island is the ultimate fun.. hahahah..

cycling up hill was tiring tiring tiring... although everyone's bike come with gear adjustment, it seemed like i'm the only one who find it hard to adjust the gear, partially cuz i dunno what how when to make gear adjustment, other being the bicycle itself bit crazy.. every cycle that i pedal, the bike went "klak klak klak klak" several times.. [tia liao pun eh kia >.<''']

but going downhill was so so so so super the max SYIOK....!!! cuz i dun need to cycle at all, and the speed was superb, cutting across the air with speed was so excited, strong wind hit my face! with breathtaking views of the island and beaches on my left, while magnificant piece of bushes and lowland plants, and several small lakes on my right hand side...!!!!!!!!! too bad can take pic at that moment.. hahahahah..

there's a tiny ship wreck at coastline, so fenny and julia decided to snorkel around that area.. me tagged along even though i dun really know how to swim...!!! i mean, if u put me in swimming pool, i can stil manage to swim a few metres.. but put me in sea with waves and sands few metres below my feet, tell u, i can freak out!!!! tengelam...!!!! but i went down anyways, cuz fenny said stick to her, she'll take care of me... so lovely...!!!!!

you know how some people, when they say something, u can just believe without hesitation.. one of them have to be fenny.. even though she's a lady, and i dunno how to swim, and several times when she resqued me, i almost pull her down with me.. yet i can stil go down to the water without fear or doubt... because i know fenny will do all she can to save me, i just know she will... trust upon her is built over time, tested through difficulties, proven through actions.. fenny i love u!!!!

and that black net on Tim's face is used to prevent flies from entering human nostril or mouth... even ear holes... hahahaha... very useful i tell u...!!! flies was so abundant at about between 10am til 12pm... super banyak i tell u, even Dayong accidently eaten one while he was talking and cycling... eventually Dayong managed to cough it out... but eeeww, so disgusting, hahahahaah...!

this is the beach where we spent hours snorkeling.. it's called Salmon Bay... also, it was then i found out the theory of Snorkeling and Dating........ super related, i feel... hahaha... super make sense...

and YAY!!!! i finally swam with the fishes....!!!!!!!!!!! the fishes so huge....!!!! and the water was so clear... and the waves wasnt huge that time...!! and there were even more people around me to catch me when i freaked out and drown.....

super super alot of THANKS to Dayong Lee and Kong... they were the two great friends that stayed around me, to make sure i didnt drown myself... of well, easy to identify, when u suddenly see me flip-flapping like a dog in a pool, then u'll know i accidentally drank salt water, couldnt breathe through my snorkel tube, realized i couldnt touch the sand, lost my floating ability on water.................. because i know they are beside me, i snorkel and go after the fishes happily....! i enjoyed snorkelling because of them....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^

tired and exhausted from whole day of cycling and cyling, and swimming and snorkelling...

we retired to the small town near the port where we first arrived... me rehat-rehat at the Coffee Bean cafe... it was nice chilling afternoon... then we all headed to the port with our bikes.. took a group photo... and returned the bikes to the ferry company..... ^^

i love 01-01-09... for the very first time, i welcomed New Year in a very unusual way, together with all these wonderful church friends... this year is gonna be unusual as well..

summer holiday is hectic... as much as i want to make full use of the time i have, i feel my body is growing weaker and weaker...

i miss my home....

i miss mum, dad, bro, sis, sophia, linfoong, hannah, kel, nic, tommy, zhiwei, steven, amy..

working in pharmacy is very exciting, i learn many new things bout medicines and managements.. bout being efficient, accurate, alert, on the ball, sharp, critical, particular, stern.. figured out i am absent minded, forgetful, careless... but i enjoyed working there, though sometimes pharmacists will give u macam-macam nasihat which sometimes sounds more like tegur-ing you..

summer cell is bonding very well, everyone and everyone is so closely knitted by now.. doing study on the book of 1 peter.. which was indeed awesome, about instructions and guidance on how to live as scattered christians in the world..

but yet, time seems insufficient.. there are many things that i didnt get to do... i stil havent finish reading the book that i want to, playing _ _ _ _ _ as often as i dream of, blogging daily thoughts and ponders as new year comes, writing letters to people i love... and many others..

i want time to slow down.. i want my body to grow stronger, hence able to endure more... i want more time.. i want to slow down.. i shall decide to slow down...

chinese new year is coming, i wanna slow down.......
